The commonest mistake in history is underestimating your opponent; it happens at the poker table all the time.
~David Shoup
Life is all about to start somewhere...
I was just getting settled in to this kick-ass new job working for one of the top online poker companies in the world, when my boss pulls me and my team into his office to tell us about his idea for us to think about writing a poker blog. Thus the seed was planted...

Thus from this humble beginnings and scribbling of a few words, I'm now gro
wn into a small sapling. Every day that I write my roots grow deeper and the plant sprouts up another inch, but it's not easy. Nothing worthwhile is. From day one I've struggled with my knowledge for the game, ideas, words and how to fit myselves into a poker blogging community that's already overflowing with content.

So as being a "NKOB" or what we also called as New Kid On the Block, i thought why not start with one form of the game...

"The Three Card Poker"
This is one of the simplest poker game though being two games in one!!!The word "POKER" is used as this game involves the standard poker hand ranking though with an exception.

As the cards used are 3 so the odds are different than that of 5 cards, which can be understood as a straight has more weight than a flush...Other than this there are no changes to the hand rankings, except for the elimination of any hands that require more than three cards.
Ante and Play
Here's a look at the basic game play.
1. Place your ante
2. Receive your cards
3. Choose to fold (losing all bets) or raise (matching the ante)
4. Win/Lose
If you fold, you will lose your ante
If you raise (by matching the size of the ante), then you must compare your hand to the dealers to see if you get paid.
The dealer must hold a queen-high or better to qualify.
· If the dealer does not qualify the player receives 1:1 on his ante and is returned his raise bet.
· If the dealer qualifies and the player wins, the player receives 1:1 on both the ante and raise bet.
· If the dealer qualifies and the player loses, the player loses both bets.
· If the dealer qualifies and ties the player, the player pushes: both bets returned.
In addition to the player versus dealer payout, players playing Ante and Play receive bonus payouts (regardless of the dealer's hand) for strong hands:
Straight Flush - 5:1
Three of a Kind - 4:1
Straight - 1:1

Trust me... The Cards speak...
