Parallel thinking

Whenever we make any argument we name it as thinking. The method of thinking was designed by Socrates, Plato and Aristu. Argument is an excellent method of thinking which is well served to us. When we talk about motivation, in argument the motivation may be high because it is in aggressive motivation.
If we take the example of a lawyer in a court of law will not mention points which help the defense case. We use argument not because it is wonderful method but we do not know any other method. After a long period of time most of the philosophers came with different concept of thinking named “parallel thinking”.
This method used widely in family discussion because it allows everyone to put forward their thinking. It is quite different to the ego-driven method of argument because in this method you allow everyone to take a part in discussion. Other form of argument which was named ‘battle-oriented’ treats the argument like battle cause of furious and aggressive points. In short parallel thinking is nothing but an open conversation among people to find out most promising solution of the problem. Other benefit of this type of thinking is satisfaction of the people with the solution itself. For the method of work it is essential that at any moment everyone is looking ‘in parallel’ in the same directions. So let’s start with this new concept of thinking……

Best friend...

Everyone has friends.
But best friend is one.
Who is always there to help you.
She will listen to you..
She has faith in you..
She knows your secrets..
Sometimes she can blackmail you for treats..
But she will never leak your secrets..
She know your dreams..
She knows your fear..
When you are weak she is there to wipe your tears..

If you are not criticized, you may not be doing much.

As kids we always feel so irritated and embarrassed and bad and what not when someone criticizes us… we fell like just giving a good piece of shit back to that person… it’s a bad feeling to go through… specially when you are criticized in front of everything…
This was when we were kids but as we grow, we understand things better and are in a good position to answer and reason every happening… this is when I realized…. Only when you do something.. you might go wrong… only when you are doing something.. people will get a chance to criticize you for that… and not when you don’t do anything… that’s the point… when you do nothing u just cant go wrong… as there is nothing to go wrong about… same way people will only criticize only when you are putting your efforts to do something…

To Chase? Or To Run?

When I got confidence, the stage was gone.
When I feared losing, it was I who won.
When I needed people the most, they left me all alone.
When I learnt to dry my tears, I found shoulder to cry on.
Life was never the way I wanted it to be. But it was always better when I left chasing the best. I learnt it from my experience that till the time you chase the things you love, they run away from you. And when you start running away, they start chasing you. It depends on you, which side you select!

I am just an expression

I am just an expression..

I can’t speak..

I can’t express what I feel..

Why I am mum that I don’t know..

No words can express me..

Hope you know who I AM…

Its Me Again...

Had forgotten to Smile
Smile for no reason
For every reason
Cos i want to
Cos they smiled at me
Cos they liked me
Had forgotten to Smile for no reason ‘cos they wanted me to accept the happiness through their perspective.

Had forgotten to be with myself
Cos was been told being yourself means following others heart

Had forgotten to listen to myself
It was too noisy to hear my own voice
It was too demanding to accept my wish
My wish is important too
It was too courageous to be myself cos they say not to be

It was too difficult to be my own
Was difficult to be normal
Was difficult to be natural
Was difficult to being human
Was difficult being ME
Cos they told me i will be selfish to do so

Here i am again
Child in me still alive
Wanting more to live
Smiling with the life
Loving being myself
Loving being imperfect yet accepted
Accepted by self

Scars have the power to remind you that the past is REAL..!

“My dear Will, you must be healed by now... on the outside at least, I hope you're not too ugly. What a collection of scars you have. Never forget who gave you the best of them, and be grateful, our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real. We live in a primitive time, don't we, Will? Neither savage nor wise. Half measures of the curse of it, any rational society will either kill me or put me to some use. Do you dream much, Will? I think of you often.”
Your old friend, Hannibal Lector.
This ones from the movie Red Dragon
……..is it not so true… whenever we look at our scars or wounds or marks that were left behind after an accident injury… does it not remind us of that exact moment when it had just happened to us…. Oh yes at times just the thought of it make shivers run down our body…..
“Oh this one… I just got it when I got myself scratched working in the garage yesterday.…” these scars might be just temporary ones… but think of the ones we got when we met with an accident. And while describing about the accident to our friends we end up showing them the exact scar…. And the reaction as always…”Oh it must have been really bad…”. Well that’s exactly what a scar does… it takes you back to the old memories as if it just happened… and so… Scars have the power to remind you that the past is REAL..!

Poker

There are numerous variations; the necessary equipment to play is simple, and lucky winners may even earn a buck or two. Poker is believed to have developed from a 16th century Persian card game known as Âs Nas. This game was played using 25 cards of 5 different suits and was similar to modern 5 card stud. When Europeans began to play the game they called it porque (French) or pochen (German).

The Origins of Today’s Game

While the origins may somewhere in the Europe and the middle east, POKER : The Modern Game, beyond doubt developed in the United States of America.
Poker was played all through New Orleans in the 1800s and spread quickly across the Western frontier. The West was full of travelers & speculators. Gambling was enjoyed by both!!!.
Poker playing along with gambling became a profession as well as a game and was very well-liked on riverboats. In the early days, Poker played with only one round of betting, five cards dealt face down and with no draw. Gamblers in due course customized these rules to make the game more lucrative. The draw was added and wild cards and bluffing became regular practice after 1850.

I hate myself

When I see you crying
When I am unable to present myself in the crowd
When people overlooked me due to my age
When people don’t want to listen my point of view
When I come to know that you are in love with other
To believe in you blindly
When I hurt you without reason
When I am unable to decide my way
When I took decision and it gives me crisis back
To take frequently wrong decision
When I am unable to justify myself
When I am unable to full fill my friend expectations
When I am unable to solve your problem
When I can’t help you when you needed it more
Because I was not there to wipe your tears
Finally I hate myself for loving you
because I am unable to tell my heart that you are not mine.
You will leave me any day and go beyond my limits.
I can’t hate you because I love you the thing which I can….
I can hate myself

Experiment with Lies III

Ok, so then I take it that you have gotten over your habit of Justification. Now the time comes of really getting the “lie” part going.
One thing of vital remembrance is that words have meanings. It is not that people (yes even you) forget it, its just that they don’t know how to use it. For eg. Its always better to say correct instead of right in a discussions as the word “correct” implies that what the speaker is saying follows the standard norms while the word “right” is used to give conformation about a particular aspect. Hence if you really want to change the dynamic of the discussion try using the word “correct”. Also when you say or hear the word “correct” notice how the speaker suddenly is looked at as an authority or gains an edge and command over the rest. Invariably the rest will look to him/her for approval, and that is exactly what you must want in a discussion. (course this is not for general friendly “what should be the Govt’s next step…” discussion).
The reason this is of importance is the mind frame that you get. Always have it that you will speak what is meant and never use the phrase “what I meant to say…” A lie has to be said in to the point and with the least words, as the more words the more tension the more chances that you will lose the grip on yourself. Plus the surroundings are not for a story. A simple yes/no decorum is to be followed for you do not want to be remembered and what you said to linger in the minds of those that question.
Your lie is always going to be a reaction to the question. Make sure that you speak in that manner. The error in most of the “thought out” lies is that it feels, seems, sounds like even tastes like it was thought of. That the answer was ready. The great liar will not use this method. He will in fact sound as if he cant believe that he’s being questioned. Reaction.
The “idea of a plan” will give you exactly that kind of mind-set. Since you have NOT thought of an escape route you will and must want to fall in the whole. For only then can you be allowed to behave, act, react in an innocent person manner.
You will ask.. .WHY?
Because it is only the innocent that fall into a trap that the guilty have already and hence try to avoid. The persons who are not in the picture are only lost. Hence we must want to be in the trap, for then we have substance and when we have substance, we shall find a way.

Next post… breaking down the real “lie”.

I took so long

Every month I just wait for my salary so that I can go for shopping. Every month I spend at least 30% of my salary on shopping on an average I am talking about my expenditure on shopping. I mostly go for clothes sometimes footwear and purse. Usually I take 2 hr to shop but yesterday broke my record. I couldn’t believe myself I took 5 hrs just to select a pair of formal shirt and a pant. Thank God I went alone this time because other might have gone mad at me. Shopping is my hobby and when I like something I make sure I take right stuff at home and make no mistake. Shopping is something by which I will never get bored. I am waiting for my Nov salary.

Cicatrization

Cicatrization is a French word for scarificatrion.
Scarification is getting a permanent scar done on the body by cutting or branding the skin.
Scarification is an ancient African tribal body art which involves purposely scarring the skin to create raised marks or patterns. it is said that art of scarification was developed because the art of tattoo was not visible enough on the dark skin color of Africans. It is also viewed as a test of courage for Africans… it’s a pain full process and thus is the person is courageous then is expected not to cry in pain during the process of scarification.
Scarification was mainly done due to religious or social reasons in olden days… now its more like a form of self expression like tattoos. Like tattoo parlors we also have special places where scarification is done by experts… it’s a rather pain full process as compared to tattoo.

The Card Deck - a look at history

The precise origin of playing cards is lost to history but the earliest bona fide references to playing cards in Europe date from 1377, but, regardless of their long history, it is only in the past few decades that clues about their evolution have begun to be comprehended. Some experts that believe in the Asian origins theory, have stated that a playing card game being named after a person or place, does not necessarily mean that its origins are from there.
It could have been played by "Moors" and brought into Europe that way, but it could just as likely have come into the Middle East from the Far East much before. However some experts place the beginning of playing cards around the 10th century, in China.
The Chinese played using paper dominoes, shuffling and dealing them, in assorted new games, paper was invented in China a thousand years before the Middle East, making it a more likely choice for the origins of playing cards. Even in the present day some of the packs used in China have suits of coins and strings of coins which Mah Jong players know as circles and bamboos (also called sticks).
The pictures on cards have been altered over time to reflect European society with each of the suits representing a different social class of that era. Nobility was represented by swords (spades), the clergy was represented by cups (hearts), tradesmen were represented by coins (diamonds), and peasants were represented by poles (clubs).
Till the invention of a printing press in 1440, card playing was a privilege exclusively of nobility. Artists would be commissioned to produce a deck of lavishly painted cards with imagery to rival Renaissance art of that time. To this day, packs of Italian playing-cards do not have queens - nor do packs in Spain, Germany and Switzerland.
The popularity of card playing increased as Gutenberg’s press (Printing press owned by Johannes Gutenberg, dated back to the14th century) began making available low-cost decks to the masses.
These days, playing cards are used for various games, gambling, divinations, and a lot more. Historians are looking at the origins of the playing cards as a social commentary throughout history. There are quite a few variations of playing cards around the world that would take them a lifetime to analyze.

He is there..

Sometimes we feel down..
No one is around us..
Everything looks so dark..
And we don’t find anyway..
But someone is there to help us..
And he will there for us…
So just cheer up…

How I started writing

Few months back I used think I can’t write anything which someone can read and appreciate it but I was wrong because when started writing for this blog I realized that I am not that great writer but I can write something which is not that crap and recently I also realized that I can write poems also that was bit shocking for me when I received comments on my poem and to be good comments. It really makes you feel good when someone read your write ups and appreciate it. So far I have written 8 to 10 poems and all are related to love. Actually I got motivated by one of my friend who is writing poems and has separate blog for it. It’s not that difficult to write a poem it’s just your feeling that you write on paper and it becomes poem. According to me poem is a way to express your felling. I think everyone should write poem to express them.

Arguments out of a pretty mouth are unanswerable!!!

Arguments out of a pretty mouth are unanswerable!!!

why do guys give up when it comes to arguing with a pretty girl...
seems a pretty face makes you forget what u were just about to say.... and also makes you forget the anger and aggression... its not about the argument... its about not being reason for a sad face...

the other day I sat down listening to a friend who complained that he could never answer nor make his point when it comes to arguing with his girl... this sounded crazy... but this justification that he gave was stunning... its like why be the reason of grin or sad and dull face when by just keeping quite you can avoid it....

I have a solution... why argue on the face when that pretty face make you go unanswerable...
why not just write it across... and convey through a letter or a mail... it will save you from regret and also convey the point...

Because I love you………..

I didn’t think that there is any difference between you and me. I always use to tell you that I love you.
I always wait for your calls even in night because……..
You promised me something but you didn’t keep your promise. I didn’t mind because……..
Whenever you fall sick I spent sleepless nights because……..
Whenever you told me to change anything in me; I followed you blindly because……..
I keep my all promises to you because……..
My friends are making fun of me because……..
In college when professor asked questions. My eyes turned to you for answer because……..
Whenever you punished at college I felt crying at that times because………..
You made fun of me among your friends. I just smiled on those jokes because……..
Whenever you smiles I always try to see love in your eyes for me because……..
I accepted you with all your faults because……..
I don’t have courage to live with all those pain which I have found in this relation. I want that everyone should know. How much love I have for you because……..

Rock n Roll - Part 3

The story continues,
…In August 1955, Elvis signs a management contract with “Colonel Tom Parker” and a few months later in 1956, Elvis graduated from rumor to bona-fide recording star.
Towards the end of Jan 1956 Elvis appeared with Scotty, Bill and D.J. on the Jackie Gleason-produced “Stage Show,” starring Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, on CBS. This is Elvis’ first network television appearance. He appears five more nights on “Stage Show” over the weeks ahead and makes minor waves nationally. The last of these six appearances is March 24. Traveling and personal appearances continued during this time, included the “Louisiana Hayride” appearances for which he is still under contract….
Later that year in march , “Elvis Presley” , Elvis’ first album recorded with RCA was released and earned over one million dollars in sales earning Elvis his first Gold Album Award.
Four months later in the same year Elvis began shooting his first movie, Love Me Tender with 20th Century Fox.
December 1956…..The front page of The Wall Street Journal reports that in the past few months, Elvis merchandise has grossed $22 million in sales. Elvis ends the pivotal year of his career, when regional popularity gave way to unprecedented national and international fame.
The year of 1956 has seen the beginning of Elvis souvenir merchandising, the beginning of a successful movie career, huge record sales (five number one singles on the pop chart, two number one albums on the pop chart, and other hits), history-making television appearances, record-breaking personal appearances and more.
Elvis has become the primary symbol of the new youth culture in America.
He has also become one of society’s most controversial figures. His unique blending of white country and gospel music, black R&B and gospel, white pop music, his particular brand of charisma and talent, and the resulting success and controversy, have helped him greatly to begin, without premeditation, a cycle of change in music and pop culture and the mores of American society.
Nothing will ever be the same for Elvis Presley or for the world…………………………

Change

Change Creates Opportunity.

The forces of change impact everything we do.

The rate of change is accelerating week by week and month by month.

The speed and variety of change is something over which we have no control, and about which we have no choice.

The only decision we have to make is whether we are going to be a "master of change" or a "victim of change."

Are we going to be a creator of circumstance or a creature of circumstances?

It will be one of the other, but the impact of change will be forced upon us, whatever we do.

How to listen

Everybody preaches us how to present things. We always trained by our professors that how to talk about the subject but never trained one of the most important skills how to listen. I have listened this most often in my life that a good listener is very nearly as attractive as a good speaker. You can’t have a very beautiful mind if you don’t know how to listen. Listening is itself a good art to learn things. A great philosopher said somewhere. If you keep your mouth shut you can learn more in spite of arguing on the matter which you don’t know well.
A good listener shows that he or she is paying attention to what is being said.
A good listener shows the respect towards the speaker.
A good listener shows that he/she is genuinely interested in what he/she hears.
A good listener gets the value from what he heard
A good listener always creates value for himself after getting the knowledge of the subject by hearing.
All of the above are to do with real attitude not fake one. Unless you are going to talk all the time you must listen most of the time. So it is advisable to work on it and get most of the information out of it. In this case problem is nobody wants to listen. Everyone think that he is a great speaker without having any knowledge of the subject. Most of the times we see that among us some people always want to answer each and every answers even they have hardly any information. Are you one of them who don’t listen to any one????

Is online gaming and share market are same

I have been tracking share market from last one and half years and I started to play poker in last six months. One day questions comes in my mind whether these two fields are completely different or they are the same and once I started to figure out the difference between these two fields I came across that the in share market we have to track the each move where the market is heading and where it can ends accordingly one should react. Whether to put the money in particular sector or script belongs to that sector or to sell the script if you have already. If someone wants to earn good money through the share market he should do some homework before buying security or selling it. He/she can do the fundamental and technical analysis of the security. This will help in reduce the risk. And in the same way the gaming also required some home work like before putting your money in to the game one should learn the game and what are the factors which can affect the chances of the winning for example poker game; in this game there are lots of variants are presents .Before playing one game type one should learn the game and make the strategy accordingly. In the stock market there are investors and traders are present .And in the poker there are poker pros and the new players are present who checks all the possibility and uses all the experience to win the game. In the stock market one should use their money according to the situation and in the same way in the poker game according to hole cards and the game situation player have to fold or make a next move.

Over all this is my individual thought.

Strategically placed Scar…

Its quite fascination to see a nicely done and strategically placed tattoo on someone’s…. We feel like having one for our self… how about a strategically placed Scar… sounds crazy right…. Well I have seen few people going crazy on scars too… few scars really look amazing and give a rough and tough kinda touch to ones personality…

When I was a kid… I hit my head on the edge of the steps while running down the staircase….

It was bad… my eye was swollen and had to get stitches too.. mom seems to be worried that her kid is gonna have a permanent scar on the face… I too dint like it in the earlier years… later I some how started liking my scar… in recent years I realized that the scar actually looked good on the face… it gave a different touch to personality…

This made me notice scars on other people’s faces too… and this idea fascinated me… most of the time scars on the face looks good and gave a unique touch then making it look horrible…

That is when the whole idea of strategically places scars fascinated me… and scars no more remaind as scars: the lasting sign of damage…

Year 2011

The end of 2010 is nearing and people are gearing up to celebrate the arrival of 2011. Even I am excited to welcome the arrival of New Year and bid adieu to the year passing by. This year has been a year of mixed feeling and achievements. And as I look back at the months gone by in this year, I feel happier than sad remembering the way things have shaped up for me. My preparations for New Year celebration will start with some good shopping of cloths and accessories to be worn on this New Year’s event. I and my friends are also in the process of short listing the venue of the party. Music, fun, dancing will be integral party of the event and we are all set to welcome the new year with arms wide open.

What girls looks for

I have always heard that “it’s very difficult to understand a women” and I agree with this because being a women I know why men say this. According to me reason is women's mind work in a very different way. They expect things to happen for them without expressing it especially from their boyfriend or husband. Let’s talk about what a girl wants in a boy. List is not small it will go on it’s a never ending list. But my list is bit small ;) Usually girls look for Honesty, good sense of humor, should be handsome with good muscles, should be mature and sensitive, should be confident, and should have good SMILE and many more. Girls easy get attracted to boys who have these qualities. But it is very difficult to find a guy like this because I am still searching for that guy.

Sweet home

Everyone loves their home even I am one of them. Yesterday I was thinking what is that thing which makes you feel “I LOVE MY HOME?” whole night I was thinking about this question it seems to be so difficult question but actually it’s very easy especially for those people who are working or studying away from their house and family. I remembered those days when I was in college I was staying in college hostel that time I left my house and parents for the first time. It was a difficult decision for me to take because I was so pampered by my parents that made me so depended on them but finally I took decision to go to college though i was not happy with my decision. When I went there I started missing my home because everything was not mine I was sharing my room with my roommates and other things in room which really made me upset actually I never had habit of sharing my stuff with other after few months I realized that you can’t expect everything to be happening as you want. Those three years really taught me many things.

I believe in GOD..

I have never saw GOD in my life but I still believe in it and believe is very strong but according to some people I am nut or stupid because how can you believe in something which don’t have any existence. By religion I am catholic. Without fail every Saturday and Sunday I go to church and sometimes I am sad that time also I visit church. It really gives me peace of mind. I feel so relax, I don’t know what’s the exact reason behind it is but I think there is some kind of power which makes me tension free my all worries just get washed away. I love you God.

You deserve only if you earned it….

Have you ever given it a serious thought… always we feel.. we should have got this or got that… did we ever think before sayin that, if we actually deserved it.. or did we really earn it…

How many time we demand for things without thinking about deserving it or earning it…

Does it not give a very different pleasure when you get something you really worked for and deserved… it’s a different feeling.. its like….a pride and achievement kinda thing…

In childhood most of the Childers must have heard their parents setting few targets, which if achieved, the child will be rewarded with something…. Why don’t we do this to ourself…

We should decide some deadlines.. or some limits or mark for our self and if achieved… we reward our self with something we like….

Rock N Roll Part - 2

…Hey there readers .. glad to see u back

Here is a little more about Elvis “The King” Presley…. and like John Lennon once said “Before Elvis , There was nothing”.
..Over the next year (since getting his guitar) Vernon's brother Johnny Smith and Assembly of Good pastor Frank Smith gave 10 year old Elvis basic guitar lessons.
Sometime later in the year 1948, after losing another job Vernon moved the family to Memphis. Glady's brothers get him a job at the Precision Tool Company and the family moved into a small apartment at 370 Washington Street.
On September 13 Elvis enrolled at L.C. Humes High School. Starting his second year Elvis worked in the school library and after school at Loew's State Theatre. In 1951, his received his first driver's license, joins the ROTC unit at Humes High, tries out for the football team (he's cut by the coach when he won’t trim his sideburns and ducktail), and in his spare time hangs around the African American section of town, especially on Beale Street where absorbs the black blues and gospel he hears there. He was also a regular audience member at the all-night white, and black, gospel sing songs that were held downtown. He wore his hair long and slick, and let his sideburns grow. He was really different from the other kids, a good-natured misfit.
While at Humes High, Elvis sang with his guitar at a student talent show. Much to his own amazement, he gets more applause than anyone else and wins, then performs an encore!! The acceptance felt good.
Finally, at 18 years of age majoring in Shop, History, and English Elvis graduated from Humes High in 1953.
In the summer of 1953 Elvis recorded "My Happiness" and "That's When the Your Heartaches Begin" at Memphis Recording Studios, a sideline Sam Phillips had started at his Sun Records studios where anyone could record a ten inch acetate for four dollars. He took the acetate home, and reportedly gave it to his mother as a much-belated extra birthday present.
Then in January 1954, Elvis made one more demo acetate at Sun. Sam Phillips, the owner of Sun Records, is in this time and, is intrigued by an unusual looking and sounding Elvis Presley.
Later that year in June, At Marion Keisker’s (Sams Assistant) suggestion, Sam Phillips calls Elvis into the studio to try singing a song Sam hopes to put out on record. The song is "Without You" and Elvis does not sing it to Sam’s approval. Sam asks Elvis what he can sing, and Elvis runs through a number of popular tunes. Sam is impressed enough to team Elvis up with local musicians Scotty Moore (guitar) and Bill Black (bass) to see if they, together, can come up with something good.
Elvis meets Scotty and Bill, but nothing really clicks until July 5, when after a tiresome session, Elvis and the guys break into a sped-up version of Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup's "That's All Right." This song, backed with Blue Moon of Kentucky becomes the first of five singles Elvis will release on the Sun label.
Elvis, Scotty, and Bill start performing in concert, with Scotty acting as the group’s manager. Elvis continues his day job at Crown Electric as the group starts to play small clubs and other smalltime gigs locally and all through the South, enjoying moderate triumph with the records and personal appearances.
Elvis’ one appearance on the Grand Ole Opry (The Grand Ole Opry is a weekly country music stage concert in Nashville, Tennessee that has presented the biggest stars of the genre since 1925. It is also among the longest-running broadcasts in history since its beginnings as a one-hour radio show) doesn’t go over particularly well, with one of the Opry officials reportedly suggesting that Elvis go back to driving a truck. The Opry is very important at this time. This is a painful disappointment in Elvis' early career.

Elvis, Scotty, and Bill continued to record and to travel, they quit their day jobs in mid-October 1954.

Beyond your salary…

Smash!!!…….. and the glass door Bangs against the wall. Freya was trying to open the door and she did it with a “bang” in the wrong direction!!!… the glass was almost about to break into pieces.

All heads in the room turned to see what happen… and suddenly u hear a shout…”EEHH…beyond your salary… be carefull” again the heads turn to the person who yelled this….

Sounds crazy.. rite… aren’t you wondering what the HELL this means…..

My reaction too was “@#@#$% horrible”

“Beyond your salary” sounds like a slang when you hear it for the first time… now everyone keeps taunting each other whenever someone is about to create some destruction to the office property…. Beyond your salary is reminding someone who is being careless about the office property….. you know the thoughts that come in our very very simple minds when irritated are “man I feel like punching this, throwing that!! Why not its not mine!” (believe me.. it happens) or “I’m having such a nice day.. blah blah blah.. oops!!” It is to curb this very pre-dominant thought and actions that has given this phrase its roots. It has gained momentum and for a few people it is a very rude way of sayin it… but this is how it is…. It’s a fact most of the times… moreover its not always about the loss, its about the loss that can be avoided by just being a little responsible and careful. It’s observed most of the times; people are not very careful or rather not at all careful with things that do not belong to them or for what they have not paid the price (of course we do not fall In this category) ….. This is of course not at all ethical nor morally right.

Beyond your salary….. the most happening office lingo.

Passport size photo…

If you asking me for a photo… yes sure I have many…. But all are soft copies…. And if u wants a hard copy then sorry childhood photos is the only thing I have….. This morning I was asked to submit some documents and 4 passport size photos… this sounds easy but it was not…. I cud not find a single passport size photo…. all the ones I had were more than 2 yrs old and I don’t look the same any more…. One I had was the latest one but it was just a single copy so of no use… and due to this digital age, dint have negatives… so I cud just develop them and get some extra copies… This all seemed so impossible…. My office hrs were such that I could not go before office because at 9am none of the photo shops are open nor could I go at night as I reached home at 9pm, same all the shops shut down…. There seemed no way, how I could manage to get 2 passport size photos….

The agent would remind me every day about my photos missing from the documents to submit… so finally I decided to go to office bit late and click my snaps… the whole idea of clicking a snap sounded so weird… first of all it was suppose to be a good snap where u look neat and tidy secondly unlike other snaps where you are busy giving poses and capturing special moments with family and friends. Here u had to have a very formal photo where you cant smile as you wish, even your smile is measured and if u don’t smile the photographer would force you to do so… again the hair do had to be good, as u just cant go as u wanna…. I was not liking this one bit but had no choice… so finally I decided to give up thinking about it and thought of just give it a shot….

Today I see myself being more particular about how I looked and how is my hair… why are my eyes looking so sleepy and on and on…… but finally the snap was clicked and I asked them for an urgent delivery as I was in hurry… it costed much higher than the normal but I had no choice… when I got my new passport size snaps photos…I was not much happy about it and so I just asked the photographer why the snap was not so good and that I dint like it.. and it could be much better…. The answer I got was to mean an answer….. it was “ madam you want an urgent photo and you also expect it to be good…. How is that possible….”. this made me wonder what photography skills and an urgent photo have to do…? as any other person I was there sitting for a photo.... in front of the same lights and also followed every instructions given by him about my smile being too small and too big and shit…. This taught me a lesson ….

And now I asked my friend to get his SLR so that we could click some good snaps… thanks to my non professional photographer friend and his armature skills that now I have much better…. No no wrong word… I have superb photos clicked and the best I could do for the professional photographer was I took the snaps clicked by my friend to him for developing….and I got 40 odd croppies done so for next at least a month I will not have to click passport size photos…..

Rock N Roll...

Music
What is music?
Music is an art form whose medium is sound and to many people in many cultures music is an important part of their way of life.
Anyways, I would like to write first about my favorite kind of music …. “Rock n Roll”…
The term “Rock n Roll” was coined in the 1950s by a Disc Jockey named Alan Freed, with regards to a particular style of music that shook things up in that era. This musical form had its beginnings in the blues tunes, gospel music, and jazz-influenced vocal music that became popular among African-American audiences; it featured electrically amplified guitars, harmonicas, and drummers that emphasized afterbeats.
Now, when I think Rock n Roll the first thing that comes to my mind is the KING !!!
Elvis Aaron Presley- (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977), in the humblest of state of affairs, was born to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room shotgun house in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935. His twin brother, Jessie Garon, was stillborn, leaving Elvis to grow up as an only child.
There was little money, but Vernon and Gladys did their best to provide for their son, who was the center of their lives.
Then in 1945 at the Mississippi-Alabama Fair and Dairy Show , young Elvis, at the age of 10 , stands on a chair in front of a microphone and sings "Old Shep" in a youth talent contest ..and wins! The talent show is broadcast over WELO Radio. Winning fifth prize, Elvis receives $5.00 in fair ride tickets.
One year later in 1946 on the 8th of January, Elvis wanted a bicycle or a rifle (not too sure which one) for his birthday but his parents could not afford either of them, so Gladys talks Elvis into buying a guitar. Without knowing it at the time his mother paid about 7 and a half dollars for the beginning of a music revolution that would alter the face of music forever…
