Manager is a person responsible for planning, controlling & directing people & resources to achieve organizations goal & take corrective action as & when required. Manager should possess following skill to become a good manager.
The first and most important skill required understands the people.
Manager should possess well defined goals.
Manager should be self motivated & also have to motivate others.
Manager should capable to allocate different resources & should have to utilize those resources properly.
Manager should be adoptable in any situation & he should be friendly & easily approachable.
Manager should organize, plan, control, his activity in right direction & in proper manner.
Manager should have strong decision making skill & problem solving ability.
Manager should appraise people & encourage them when required.
Manager should possess good technical as well as conceptual knowledge. Manager should be leader & he should have creativity.
A good manager can motivate people, learn from previous mistakes, and gain respect from a team.
