The cartoons that talk about life.

Ever wondered why you still feel like watching “The Simpsons” or “Southpark” what about “Tom and Jerry”? (My word document did not show a spelling error when I entered the first and the last cartoon names!)
These classics are still the best cartoons ever created by man. Why? Astriex is much funnier but when you see the fan following the top three are in a class apart. (Astriex I had to “add to the dictionary”!).

Simpsons has captured the essence of life and our “perception” of it. Everyone has a Homer who they know about not because he loves beer, food, television and is an epitome of the ultimate dream of man! But because his attitude, his manner, his thoughts resonate in our “grey matter” more than any other adult cartoon character. The Simpsons represents not just a particular countries average family but the worlds “crowd”. From Bart coming of age and his inability to handle it to Maggie copying her favorite itchy & scratchy (guess whether my word document showed me an error!) cartoon gimmicks to Lisa the brain child with peer pressure issue’s to Marge the quintessential mother and last but not the least our beloved Homer with his antics which make a lot of sense if you look at them closely the show speaks more about life then any book, magazine or newspaper/channel (Let us not delve into the “sadness” of “Reality TV!”).

Southpark is the ultimate “See how crazy the society really is” cartoon. The 4 (Eric Cartman, Kyle Broflovski, Stan Marsh, and Kenny McCormick) always have a perception of the world which you cannot help but agree to. Not for the immature audience they speak of anything and everything going on in the world from the Terrorist attacks scare to the environment. Relatable in any country and society they prove that “Yes the boundaries may change but the people remain the same!”

Tom and Jerry! Well do I need to prove how it speaks about life! Still watched by humans from the age of 9 to 90 this show talks about our desire our dreams and the efforts we are willing to put and the stakes we are willing to bet. The end is always a little disheartening but be sure that Tom never gives up!
If only our news channels and television shows and “Life” books could speak the kind of language that resounds from these cartoons!
