Blackjack

Blackjack is one of most simpliest game to understand amongst the other card games. It had simple terms used to play.

Today i learned this new game called Blackjack. It was one of the fastest game i ever picked up. Very easy to understand and fun to play.

This game basically has the players against the dealer game. Each player will be dealt 2 cards, all facing up for the players and only onefaceup and other facedown card for the dealer. The goal of this game is to reach 21 or close to it. If you get over 21 ie Bust then you lose.

The Terms used in Blackjack are:

Hit - It means you ask the dealer to give you one more card, you can continue say ‘hit me’ until you reach 21 or close to it.

Stand- means you don’t want the dealer give you anymore card. You will stand with your card you hold.

Bust - means your card is over 21. You will lose your bet on the table.

Double Down - means you can double your bet in order to claim more money. You can do this if you are sure your card is good enough to win. The dealer will give you one more card and that’s it and you cannot ask for more cards.

Split - means you can have two different hands for your card, players usually have this if they have the same identical cards or cards with the same value. It is also means you have to bet for every hand you have there.

Insurance - means an option given by the dealer for the players to have their full bet back if the dealer has 21 and showing an ace in the table. But, if the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack then you will lose your insurance amount as well.
